“And now, by the power invested in me by absolutely no one, I pronounce you Sarah and Christian!”
Sarah and Christian had been together for over a decade and were already legally married, so their wedding at the Seattle Olympic Sculpture Park had the airs of a very fancy party. With immaculate design, gorgeous florals, decadent fresh food, and a sunset for the history books (it’s very expensive to reserve sunsets like that), this black-tie glitter-dress big-kid party was truly stunning. Most people are familiar with my airy romp-tastic wet and muddy kind of lawless wedding photography style, so a wedding at the iconic Sculpture Park was an exciting challenge for me. I thought more about lines and contrast, space and openness, and really enjoyed feeling my mind open and work, instead of falling into my normal groove. Sarah did put her dress on in the parking lot, though, so that’s about normal for me. I love these non-traditional weddings!
