RUSTIC MISTY FIREWEED MOUNTAIN HOMER ALASKA WEDDING

I couldn’t decide on a succinct title to describe this wedding, so I picked a lot of descriptors. I left out “cozy beach home,” “wet and wild,” and “socked in and fabulous.” Olivia and Josh, college sweethearts, got married inside of a cloud on a wet day in Homer, Alaska, surrounded by family and friends and fireweed.

These are the kinds of weddings that stimulate all of my “this is everything” sensors. The bridal party got ready together in the family beach house on the Homer Spit, the fireweed had the season of its life, and everyone got their name written on an oyster. Everyone worked so hard on this gorgeous day, and I felt seriously blissed-out to be a part of it. Plus my second shooter and I got to sleep up in that panorama-view attic!
